Konsultativni sastanak pod nazivom “kako unaprijediti sistem odbrane po službenoj dužnosti?” se realizovao u period od 4 i 5. marta 2016. godine u Etno selu “Stanišić” u organizaciji Helsinškog odbora za ljudska prava u RS.

Na konsultativnom sastanku su učestvovali advokati, predstavnici advokatskih komora, predstavnici pravosudnih institucija, predstavnici organizacija građanskog društva koje djeluju u oblasti pravosuđa, kao i predstavnici akademske zajednice. Preporuke sa konsultativnog sastanka će se uvrstiti u analizu „efikasnosti sistema pravne zaštite optuženih u BiH, Srbiji, Makedoniji, Albaniji i Kosovu“.
Konsultativni sastanak se realizovao u okviru projekta „Unapređenje sistema pravne zaštite optuženih u BiH, Srbiji, Makedoniji, Albaniji i Kosovu“ u saradnji sa parterskim organizacijam Center for Legal Aid and Regional Development (CLARD), Tirana Legal Aid Society (TLAS), Helsinki Committee for Human Rights of the Republic of Macedonia, The Network of the Committees for Human Rights in Serbia (CHRIS), Policy Center Belgrade i Zbor advokata/Advokatska kancelarija Tojić Bijeljina.Projekat se relaizuje uz podršku American Bar Association Rule of Low Initiative u trajanju od 12 mjeseci.
The consultation meeting „How to improve the ex officio system in Bosnia and Herzegovina“ was organized in Bijeljina on March 4th and 5th, 2016 by the Helsinki Committee for human rights in Republika Srpska.
During the consultation meeting a list of recommendations has been agreed among the participating lawyers, prosecutors, judges, academia and civil society on how to make the ex officio system in BH more transparent, efficient and in line with the needs to offer quality legal protection for the accused. The recommendations will enrich the Analysis „Efficiency of the ex office legal protection of accused in BH, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo. “.
This consultation meeting was realized in the framework of the regional BRRLN project„Enhancing the ex office legal protection of accused in BH, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo“ in cooperation with partner organizations: Center for Legal Aid and Regional Development (CLARD) from Kosovo, Tirana Legal Aid Society (TLAS) from Albania, Helsinki Committee for Human Rights of the Republic of Macedonia, The Network of the Committees for Human Rights in Serbia (CHRIS), the Policy Center Belgrade and the Alliance of lawyers in the Bijeljina region. The project is financed from USAID through the Balkan Regional Rule of Law Network Program implemented by American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative for a period of 12 months.
